Optical X-haul for Beyond 5G: Cost-effective Deployment Strategies

Abstract

We introduce a scalable optimization framework for cost minimized network planning in beyond 5G. The results demonstrate how scalable optical x-haul networks can be designed across different deployment scenarios, optimizing cost and performance for B5G infrastructure.
