DUMG Talk by Prof Alexander Kruger

Abstract

Feel free to join the DUMG in the second of a series of talks designed at the undergraduate cohort. The series aims to cover a vast and broad area of mathematics in industry and academia and inspire more people to engage with mathematics. Dr Alexander Kruger is giving a talk on the development on non-smooth analysis, and the idea of the derivative from classical through convex to nonsmooth analysis.
