Dr. Swati is a Senior Lecturer at Deakin University, GIFT City campus, within the School of Science, Engineering, and Built Environment. Previously, she distinguished herself as a postdoctoral research fellow at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, in the School of Computer Science and Statistics. Dr. Swati’s research expertise encompasses IoT Security, Post-Quantum Cryptography, Federated Learning, and Blockchain Technology. With a robust background spanning 14 years in industry, research, and teaching at premier institutions, including Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Dr. Swati brings a wealth of knowledge to her academic role. She completed her PhD from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala, India. Dr. Swati’s scholarly contributions are reflected in multiple publications in reputed SCI-indexed journals and conferences. Her research focuses on various NIST-standardized post-quantum algorithms, with recent work exploring IoT security using Lattice-based Cryptography, Blockchain Consensus mechanisms using FALCON, and enhancing TLS security with Crystals Kyber.
